Days After Defeat Klitschko Still In Shock
November 30, 2015
Per the Mirror, now former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is still mentally suffering and in anguish days after his shocking defeat to Tyson Fury. It was Klitschko’s first loss in over 11 years and he took to twitter to say a few words that spoke volumes.
I still don’t believe I actually lost. Man, I’m suffering.

Klitschko is expected to exercise a rematch clause in contract with Fury, with round 2 likely taking place in April or May 2016. Fury would be open to it happening in Germany again, however, he and his team are reportedly pushing for it to take place at Wembley Stadium in London.
A rematch would definitely have a ton of build up, with the young bull going up against the old veteran. Klitschko will definitely be expected to be more aggressive and active in the 2nd fight, however, Fury’s uncle Peter, who is also his trainer, says Tyson, who recently said he only fought at “60%,” will be even better.
“I expected a bit more for Tyson,” he said per the Mirror. “What you have to look at is that styles make fighters. This was his first big test. Now he has come through that test, can you imagine how much he will improve. You are seeing a future heavyweight sensation, now you will see more of his boxing ability. There’s a lot more Wladimir can give and a lot more Tyson can give, but I do believe the outcome will be the same because Tyson can raise his game a lot more.”
