Cotto: My Best Weapon To Defeat Canelo Is….

“Freddie is going to outline the game plan. Canelo is a different fighter, but my biggest advantage is called Freddie Roach. He has led me to do things I have never done,” Cotto said. “We leave for Los Angeles on September 25 and on the 28th we will start the camp. We will have an eight-week camp.”

This will be Miguel Cotto’s second defense of his middleweight title that he captured last June when he knocked out Sergio Martinez. He retained the title for the first time this past June with a knockout of Daniel Geale. Both of those fights took place at a catch-weight and the fight with Canelo will take place at a catchweight 155-pounds.
