Terence Crawford sentenced to 50 days in jail

December 15, 2016

WBO and WBC titleholder Terence Crawford has been sentenced to 50 days in jail due to an incident in a body shop last April.

According to the Omaha World-Herald, Douglas County Judge Marcena Hendrix said to Crawford, “You’ve continued to act as if you’re above the law, and you are not.”  Crawford’s attorney said that he hopes to have him out of jail by the end of the day by appealing the case.

Crawford refused to pay Extreme Custom Fleet & Auto for the work that they did due to dissatisfaction.  They wouldn’t give him his car back due to his dissatisfaction with the work, so he attempted to take the car back off the hydraulic lift, and it was damaged.

Wonder if anyone will try to pick a fight with Crawford in jail!  I’d stay away!
