Tyson Fury confirms delay in Wladimir Klitschko rematch
According to Fury, the rematch between the two will eventually happen. However, the two sides are nowhere near an agreement on terms – not even a date. Also, Fury seems to be more worried about training for the fight than actually agreeing to whether one will ever happen.
Tyson Fury: “I’ve not heard anything I don’t know anything. I’ve got not dates, nothing,” Fury told World Boxing News…It will probably be the summer time because I haven’t really done any training yet. It’s not going to be anytime soon, I don’t think.”
More to come as this develops. Klitschko, by the way, turns 40 years old in March – so we’re not sure that he will want to wait any longer to agree to some terms.
Watch highlights of Tyson Fury vs. Wladimir Klitschko:
After the previous match, Klitschko had previously said ”I was really frustrated directly after the fight but after some short nights I now know that I want to show that I am much better than my performance on Saturday…I couldn’t show my full potential at any time. This is what I want to change in the rematch — and I will. Failure is not an option.”
